How much of your revenue does analytics never see?

Consent declines, Safari/ITP cookie prevention, and ad-blockers each strip conversions before they're ever recorded — and the loss isn't uniform, so it quietly biases budget toward the channels that happen to be trackable. This simulates the observed-vs-actual gap for the fictional Northstar Outfitters store, per channel, using each channel's privacy profile; shows how much Google-style consent-mode modelling claws back; and decomposes the gap by cause. Deterministic expected-value maths — the point is that your numbers are wrong by a knowable amount, so don't optimise to them blind.

Actual vs What You See

The same revenue, as it truly happened vs as your analytics records it.

Where the Signal Goes

The gap decomposed by cause — and how much consent-mode modelling recovers.

    Under-Reporting by Channel

Privacy-heavy channels lose the most — so observed data over-credits the trackable ones.
